Spring Break! - #25

Last week during spring break, I spent quality time taking a break from school, as well as making plans for the 4th nine weeks. Because I did not have any other school work to be stressed out about, I was able to get a good amount of research done for my final product. At the research showcase, I was able to talk with my mentor, Laura, about my product and how I should get started on it after my foundational research step. We decided that creating a step by step marketing plan for my hypothetical artist would be a good idea. Laura told me that she would help me find an artist that I like that I can "manage," so I conducted additional research of my own regarding a few relatively "underground" artists that I like to find out whether they would be a good fit for my final product. I was able to narrow down my list eventually, but I am still not completely sure which specific artist that I want to manage. I plan on discussing this with Laura as soon as I can get my next mentor visit scheduled so that we can really get this project going. Overall, this spring break was a good time for me to refresh my mind and organize my calendar. I have a more detailed plan of my final product now that I came from break, and I am excited to continue the last nine weeks of my ISM journey.
