Dress Rehearsal - #29

After turning in our final product, all we have left is our final presentation. I am overall very satisfied with the final product that I completed, and this semester really taught me about all the things I could accomplish if I just work hard and put my mind to it. With that in mind, I worked on getting ready for my final presentation dress rehearsal most of last week. Last week was a busy week for me with presentations in my other classes as well, so I was a bit overwhelmed. For my final presentation speech, I added slides about my final product as well as my conclusion and reflection, and practiced multiple times to make sure that my timing is correct as well as the line of reasoning of my speech. I worked on making eye contact with the audience and not looking at my notes too much, and I could feel that my public speaking skills have gotten better since the beginning of the year. I was still really nervous to give my speech regardless, and I ended up talking a little too fast during my rehearsal. I was a little short on time, and Coach Goff suggested I add more slides talking about the Business Symposium and elaborate on my final product a bit more. Our final presentation day is approaching, and even though I am very nervous, I know that I will end up doing just fine and will be proud of my work. I cannot believe that my ISM journey is actually coming to an end.
