Diving In - #11

I focused on researching for my original work at the same time as my sixth research assessment last week. I was able to get a good amount of research done as a result and have a very productive week. I researched about the mechanics of the music industry, and the evolution of recording labels from the 1960s to the present day. This gave me a good idea of the direction I should be setting my business plan in since I was able to learn about the changes in trends of music labels, and how that affected the creative industry as a whole. I also researched about the various marketing techniques and how they have been digitized throughout the years as technology started to take up more parts of people's daily lives. I think this research process really gave me a solid foundational background knowledge to start drafting my business plan. Throughout the different research assessments and professional interviews the past few weeks, I learned about the process of writing business plans and their contents, marketing techniques, digital evolution of recording labels, and many more. The only question I have now is how I should format my business plan draft. I am excited that I finally feel solidly prepared, and I am also planning to schedule more interviews this week which should help me even more with my original work.
