Back on the Track - #17

With the start of the first full week of the second semester, I felt that we are getting back on our ISM journey and returning back to the usual routine. Last week served as a good transition between the two week break and the start of the new semester, and it really helped me organize my thoughts on how I should be getting my plan restarted. First things first, I will contact my mentor, Laura, to set up our first mentor visit. I will get this settled before this week ends, so that I have a better idea of where I should be heading regarding my final product. Second, we have another research assessment due this week. Majority of my assessments last semester focused mainly on music production and the creative sector. However, now that I know my focus will be on the business and marketing aspect of the music industry, I will aim towards gaining more information regarding the economy and the current climate of the business aspect of the industry rather than the artists and the making process of music. Although my goals are not very specific for now, I believe that I will be able to get a detailed plan set up as the week goes by. I am excited to set up my first mentor visit, and all the new experiences that will be waiting for me.
